Robin Barley-Williams

Robin is a contemporary oil painter based in Brighton having graduated from Brighton University in 2026. Creating paintings using vague memories, and abstracting them in the journey from mind to canvas she uses thin layers to build up forms, the image revealing itself not only to the viewer, but also the artist. Using complimentary palettes favouring earthier, natural colours she creates unknown scenes with familiar objects, distorting a sense of comfort into one of vulnerability in these peculiar landscapes.
